Here is a look at a cumulative look at all of the 2010 Bowman Chrome Baseball Prospect Autograph sales through the first full weekend of release. There has been 1200+ sales since its release last Wednesday, and I have accumulated each of the sales via eBay and put them together for you to get an idea on which Prospect Autographs are selling the best, at product release.
With each new Bowman (or Bowman Chrome) release, there is much anticipation around the heralded Superfractor chase within that product. A single card produced that creates hysteria and chaos among collectors hunting down the cards. This year the Superfractors are inserted 1 in every 48,000 packs, or roughly 1 in every 222 cases! A very tough pull.

Exactly one year ago, NBA fans were eagerly awaiting the regular season debut of the 2009 No. 1 overall draft pick of the Los Angeles Clippers, Blake Griffin. It was the team’s final preseason game and Griffin had looked great during the preseason, averaging 13.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
Then disaster struck.
In typical Topps fashion, they have added a few Super Short Print cards to this years 2010 Topps Update. Of course, one of the SSP cards is Stephen Strasburg, as he remains the golden child for all 2010 Topps products.
Topps also added three “Rookie Cup” variations to three players who originally appeared in the Series 2 set. Omir Santos, Chris Getz, and Nolan Reimold each have Rookie Cup variation that shows a different photo from the Series 2 card, as well as a small Rookie Cup above the team logo on the front of the card.
Each year when Topps Update is released, I am amazed at some of the crazy, high-dollar cards that are inserted into this relatively cheap product. One of those inserts are the All-Star Game Jumbo Patch cards. This year, each card is numbered to 6, and some feature a sticker autograph on the card. These cards are simply beautiful and have been commanding some serious coin on the secondary market. Here are a few examples of some completed eBay auctions:

After 162 games, and exciting NLCS and ALCS series, the 2010 World Series is set. Texas vs San Francisco. It’s no surprise that some of the most exciting players from these two teams make up our final installment of Hot List for Baseball for 2010.

He has the skills and abilities to be on of the best in the NFL. He replaced a legend on the San Diego Chargers roster when he was drafted in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Ryan Mathews has very large shoes to fill and very high expectations to meet in just his first NFL season. Considered by most as one of the top rookies from this years NFL draft class, his sports cards have been selling very well so far into the season, despite his slow start to his career. His 2010 Topps Chrome Superfractor Auto is currently up at a 10-day auction, ending on November 3. While Mathews still may be considered a true project by some, there is no denying that the void that someone will need to replace in the Chargers backfield after LaDainian Tomlinson was released. Mathews has the makeup to fill that void very nicely.

Without a doubt, Derrick Favors has taken the award for having the worst autograph in this history of sports card autographs. This title, previously held by Chris Johnson (Titans), and Lawrence Timmons, were tough competition to top as previous Worst Autograph Title Holders, but as you can see by the sheer apathetic approach Favors took to signing his cards, he was an easy selection.
Congrats to Derrick, I am sure you worked long and hard to achieve this prestigious award.
